sounds of rain
What we experience as material reality is just a lens of perception giving us a very distorted and small and fragmented view of something that's much vaster, huger, abstract, and ineffable. The material universe, despite its enormity, despite its hugeness, despite its solidity, despite its physicality, is nothing other than a step-child of a much vaster, more abstract, and ineffable reality.
what a beautiful experience today! i went to Kai Chi Do, an unexpected gong meditation, and then was invited to go eat with a few new friends! life is full of pleasant suprises when one chooses to embark on this path! embrace the journey, cherish every day, and love it all!
when letting go of resistance and living more fully present in the now, things unfold easily and naturally on their own. spontaneity and seemingly random occurences become more of a daily thing.
i had a great experience at the gong meditation (after a great time at Kai Chi Do), and i must have let go of the resistance and thoughts somewhere in the beginning to middle of it. it went by very quickly. i recall realizing i was at the gong meditation (after have drifted off, following a thought, in a dream, or perhaps wandering into another dimension), and then coming back to the room and shortly after it was almost over. in the past i hadn’t really drifted off unexpectedly in a guided meditation or sound healing session, though i must be at the point in the journey where this begins to happen. i’ll trust it and allow it to unfold as it does.
trust and surrender become an important (or guiding) factor in life when one embraces the journey. not resisting opens up so much to one in one’s life. all things and events begin to flow more smoothly, and if something does come up that one would normally have some sort of emotion or issue with, the charge is not as strong or doesn’t last as long, and then begins to no longer show up anymore. one becomes okay and accepting with life (if say one were resisting or judging of life), and then one begins to appreciate all of life, no matter what shows up. eventually this transforms into witnessing the unfolding of the divine everywhere and in everyone.
things that once mattered may no longer play any role in one’s life. and ways of life that one previously had no interest or knowledge in may become all one is interested in.
awakening to one’s true nature is such a gift and beautiful experience. yes, there may be a little effort at the beginning, especially if one was resisting a lot in the past, but it is absolutely worth it. at the other side of the aspects one may not wish to see (at first), there is bliss and joy. once one lets go of one was holding on to, the path becomes clear and the new road is paved for a much more peaceful experience here on earth.
it is amazing, beautiful, and inspiring to know that i created all of this. i recall a long time ago wanting to create my own spiritual program of sorts, so i’d have some sort of activity to do to grow along this path, whether it be go to nature, meditate, practice something like qi gong, read, listen to audio programs, etc, etc. and now i am living this. and i recall desiring a community of others on a similar path here in florida, and now i’m beginning to meet others.
life is beautiful. realize the beauty in it every day. practice gratitude daily for everything one has, even if things didn’t go exactly as you may have hoped them to go that day — be grateful for another day of life here on earth and for all the experiences you did have on your own journey. i’m grateful for everything i’ve experienced in my life and for how many of the stresses i’ve been able to let go of (with the changes i’ve learned and decided to make in my life).
earlier today, at a conversation that i was observing after kai chi do, i began to think about definition and how much things really begin to show up more in one’s life when one puts more energy, thought, or definition into them. i’m not quite feeling exactly the idea or inspiration that i was at the moment, though a good thing one might do is begin to look at one’s life and how one really sees life. look at how you define certain aspects of life and how those aspects of life show up more in your daily experience. then begin to notice how you some things you don’t really give much energy or thought into, and those rarely or never show up in one’s life. if there’s something in your life you desire, begin to put more attention and energy on exactly what it is that you do want. define it clearly and begin to see it clearly, and that clear picture will manifest and show up in your life. likewise, if there’s something in your life you don’t want or no longer desire to have in your life, look at if you’ve been giving it a lot of attention, energy, and definition. either begin to see it in a new light, by redefining it as a lesson that you had to learn at that time, or begin to define it less and give it less attention and energy (or a combination of both of these ideas is probably best — first see it as it is and accept that it was a part of your life that you had to learn, and then simply let it go by stopping yourself from giving it any energy or attention). simply put, the more energy or definition you put into something, the more real it becomes in your life (and the less you give to it, the less real it becomes) — this applies to any aspect of life.
Current science says that all of the information which we have, which structures our body, is contained in the DNA, but that's wrong. The DNA is not the source of information, it's the expression of information. The information itself is a much more abstract field. Just like when you read a book, when you read Wayne's book, the real magic is not in the ink. The ink is not the source of the book. It may be the means of transmitting the information. The information is in his consciousness. And consciousness is not in matter at all. It expresses itself as matter. It conceives, governs, constructs, becomes matter, but in itself, its not matter at all.
