we worked very horribly together the time is now 5:05 motion has not occurred josh – sound-words / normal words .. taking/breaking jon – foreshadowing/anticipation .. being in the moment / observing the moment mark – desire/hope .. preconception/actuality

dreaming in endless fields of desire all i see is yellow below and blue sky above .. though i see blue sky there is no sun .. as it has long been abandoned, left me astray .. i feel the cold empty air surround me, seeking the warmth found in the eternal fields below .. from a distance it all becomes a blur of yellow, lending no hint of determination of what one can find in such fields .. i [...]

this proposal is for a collaborative show between artists amy ashbaugh and mark marano to be based on a theme exploring everyday cities in the nocturnal hours where most if not all activity is in a state of void, yet man-made devices and structures remain functional for seemingly little purpose. the work explores not only the aesthetic qualities found in such states of tranquility, but also seeks to provide a documentation of what exists and happens in the same locations [...]
