Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love.
The mind of the aspirant has to bypass and refuse temptations. Later it will be seen that nothing was lost as that temptation was merely another illusion. The aspirant gives up the vanities of opinionation and the duties of saving the world. One's inner spiritual evolution is of greater value to society than any form of doingness. The level of compassion radiates out and contributes silently to mankind's wisdom.
There is nothing that can help the world more than your putting an end to ignorance.
Everything I need is within me. I don't have to search for the truth, I am the truth. I don't have to search for perfection; I am perfection. I don't have to search for happiness; I am happiness wherever I am.
We have the power to decide the destiny of our planet. If we awaken to our true situation, there will be a change in our collective consciousness.
Be a bringer of the Light. For your light can do more than illuminate your own path, your light can be the light which truly lights the world.
Here’s a webinar Michael Reynolds, inventor of the Earthship Concept, did last year.. he talks about the latest Earthship model and all aspects of Earthship Biotecture, including how to bring Earthships to the world today:
You see things; and you say, 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say, 'Why not?'
Sri H.W.L. Poonja, lovingly referred to as Papaji, was born on October 13, 1910, in a part of the Punjab that is now in Pakistan.
He had his first direct experience of the Self at the age of nine. He met his Master, Sri Ramana Maharshi, in 1944. Shortly afterwards he realized the Self in the presence of his master. Being a householder, he continued to work and support the many members of his extended family until his retirement in 1966. After extensive travel Papaji settled down in Lucknow, India, where he received visitors from around the world. He died on September 6, 1997.
“Let there be Peace and Love among all beings of the Universe.” (Papaji)
I forgot to mention in the long post I typed shortly ago that I just found out earlier today that a leader in a previous business opportunity died yesterday. I wanted to tie that in somehow into what I was writing. I don’t recall exactly how as the path I followed led elsewhere so I suppose I can let it be. It’s funny these multiple choice paths we choose. We navigate and circumnavigate through consciousness in every moment. In each […]
Who do I now choose to be? This is the only question that matters, and this is what your soul is using your life to decide, every moment. Life is not a process of discovery, it is a process of creation.
Ask, "How am I aware or even know that I exist?" That question is the best that can be acted upon for it leads directly and nonverbally to the ever present Reality. Identify with that quality, capacity, or condition of ever present subjectivity which is experienced as an underlying awareness. It is consciousness itself. Identify with that consciousness instead of with the 'what' it is conscious about. That is the direct route to the Self. It is actually the only practice that leads directly through the doorway. There is nothing to know, to learn, or to remember. It is merely necessary to focus, fixate, meditate, contemplate, look at, and realize that the substrate and source of existence is the radical subjectivity of the Presence of God as the Light of Consciousness.
The peaceful mind has no thoughts or opinions. Because the knowingness replaces thinkingness, it will be discovered that no commentary is required to successfully fulfill the requirements of life, and that what had been believed to be necessary (thoughts) is actually superfluous. The spectacular beauty of a sunset or beautiful music is diminished by mentalization.

I drove into the city to see my friend Erin who I hadn’t seen in years.. Decided to take Chicago Street / Irving Park Road the whole way down to the lake to create the first part of this fisheye time-lapse shot.. the second part of the shot is driving downtown to find a spot for a 360 degree time-lapse (that I still have to process) and the drive back to Elgin on the interstate (where the camera/clamp fell off […]
It’s all about feeling. Follow your feelings and allow your intuition to guide you. It’s how all great art, performances, writing, etc happens – through inspiration. Don’t try to figure out the feelings. Just follow them. All aspects of the universe are connected and we may not understand exactly where it’s taking us, though it’s taking us to where we desire to go. For example, a part of me desires to inspire others with my art, journal, and life.. I […]
Recently, I’ve been realizing that perhaps I’m not all that crazy after all. I see things differently that most people or systems out there (that have really been there to program and hold people back). A while back I used to think I didn’t fit in, that perhaps there was something wrong with me, and that I needed to conform, or at least pretend to, in order to be accepted by society. Though, I’ve realized that society itself is the […]
In actuality, enlightenment is neither a state nor a viewpoint, yet it is both, and there is no statement about it that is completely accurate.
All the things that truly matter, beauty, love, creativity, joy and inner peace arise from beyond the mind.
Judge nothing, you will be happy. Forgive everything, you will be happier. Love everything, you will be happiest.
I have learned silence from the talkative, tolerance from the intolerant, and kindness from the unkind; yet strangely, I am ungrateful to these teachers.
I am free to be who I really am. Personal freedom - the freedom to be who I really am, the freedom to do what I really want to do - is the greatest gift that I can give myself.
This Earth Hour 2012: 8.30pm, Saturday 31 March, celebrate your action for the planet with the people of world by switching off your lights for an hour, then go beyond the hour.

Here are some videos about Earthships, radically sustainable homes built with recycled materials that create zero carbon footprint. Ever since I discovered these years ago, I’ve been fascinated with the concept. The systems used in Earthships allow complete self-sustainability – this is the future of homes that allow us to preserve our planet’s resources.
These first couple of videos are pretty old though describe the basic technical concepts and Earthship systems pretty well. The getting started video adds a little more about the newer model.

Earthship Design Principles:
These videos below are more about the concept, philosophy, and the current need for homes like Earthships in today’s world. Check out this first one below especially: Earthship Biotecture founder/architect Michael Reynolds talks about when he went to the Copenhagen Climate Conference and the reality we are currently facing.

The sun never says to the earth,
"You owe Me."

A love like that,
It lights the Whole Sky
Last night, I had a glimpse of better understanding of what David R. Hawkins’ meant when he said that its a lot of effort to live in the body. When hearing about the detailed processes of how the body really works (in relation to food), I realized that the reason (or one of the reasons) I don’t like the cold is as it’s taking a lot of energy and attention away from other things in having to produce the warmth […]
What a beautiful day it is this morning! One only needs to continue on their path to realize and feel the beauty in each day.
It’s interesting, the creations one might find one’s self in. Today, I found myself in an old one that I’ve known for a while. Why I hang on to it is beyond me, especially when I know I can so easily discreate it. Perhaps it’s for fear of what I might actually be able to do. I know absolutely anything is possible, and I can create the life I desire, though I wonder what would it be like to do […]
