had a feeling there’d be some interesting light out.. and I almost didn’t go out to experience it! by the time I went out to see it, I felt it was too late to set up a ‘normal’ time-lapse and I had gotten a little tired of shooting so many of those lately.. I grabbed the 12mm lens and started shooting.. after experiencing the beautiful light for a while and taking shots in many directions, I felt inspired to put the images together into what you see below.. it’s funny how an idea can get ahold of ya! I was just writing back and forth with my cousin Chris about time-lapse ideas, and this isn’t quite one of the ones we described, though it was definitely inspired partially by those emails and partially by recently posting some older overlapping panoramas on the blog here.. it looks pretty good considering I didn’t think of the idea ’til the end of shooting.. and the mirror on my camera fell out the other day so I couldn’t see through the lens or get light readings from the meter either! now, if i actually spent a little more time correcting the density of these images….
